your 12 words, compatibility & recovery. no fakes. no gas. no kyc. just dollars.
dolaramp is non-custodial: your keys are generated on your phone and never leave it. the 12-word phrase (BIP-39) shown in settings is the master backup — whoever has the words has the funds. write them down offline, never in a screenshot, never in a chat.
we can't reset, recover or see your words. lose the phone AND the words = the funds are gone. that's the deal that keeps everyone else out too.
all of your addresses derive from the same 12 words, using the standard path of each network:
| network | derivation | recovery outside dolaramp |
|---|---|---|
| solana | m/44'/501'/0'/0' (SLIP-10, ed25519) | import the 12 words in any standard solana wallet |
| tron | m/44'/195'/0'/0/0 (BIP-32, secp256k1) | import the 12 words in any standard tron wallet. it will show your regular tron address first; your USDT lives in the GasFree account linked to it, which is the receive address in the app. use a wallet with GasFree support to see and move it — details in restore your 12 words in another wallet |
| base / evm | m/44'/60'/0'/0/0 (BIP-32, secp256k1) | import the 12 words in any standard evm wallet — same 0x address on every evm chain |
| gram (ton) | ed25519 from the same seed (dolaramp scheme) | app-only for now: the ton ecosystem uses its own 24-word format, so third-party ton wallets won't derive this account from the 12 words. restoring the 12 words in dolaramp fully recovers your gram funds |
after importing anywhere, compare the address with the one shown in the dolaramp app (receive screen). same address = same funds. different address = that wallet used a different derivation path — funds are NOT lost, just re-import somewhere that follows the standard path.
| network | tokens | notes |
|---|---|---|
| solana | USDT · USDC · PYUSD | fastest deposits, usually under a minute |
| tron | USDT | gasless via the network's official GasFree rail — you never need TRX |
| base | USDC | your base address works on every EVM chain (same 0x) |
| arbitrum | USDC · USDT (USD₮0) | same 0x address as base — one EVM address for both networks |
| gram (ton) | USDT | app-only derivation — see the table above |
the app detects wrong-network addresses before you send. tokens other than the ones listed are ignored — don't send anything else to your addresses.
USDC held on solana, base or arbitrum can be moved to either of the others from inside the app. it is not a swap and there is no pool: Circle burns the amount on the network you leave and mints it on the one you arrive at, 1:1, so what lands is the issuer's own token and not a wrapped copy. the operation has two hashes — the burn and the mint — and both appear in the receipt. our fee is a flat $2 + 0.3% of the amount, minimum $10 per operation, always shown before you confirm, and Circle's own fee is passed through without markup. there is no ceiling that matters in practice — up to $10m per order — because no pool is lending the liquidity. most moves confirm in well under a minute; a slow one is the network waiting for finality, not the money being held.
receiving is always free — the sender pays their own network costs. sending has one flat fee, shown on screen before you confirm: if you don't confirm, nothing is charged. on tron, the network itself charges a small USDT fee for the gasless rail (also shown upfront). you never buy or hold gas tokens — that's the point.
the app sends a push notification the moment a deposit lands — it works with the app closed. turn it on or off in settings → notifications. the activity feed on home records everything either way.
sent USDT or USDC on the wrong network — what can be recovered and what cannot, address by address. a token that looks like USDT appeared in a wallet — how to check the contract, and why it cannot happen inside dolaramp. USDT on TRON without TRX — the three ways and what each costs. restoring the 12 words in another wallet — which paths open the same addresses.
