dolaramp
terms of use.
effective: august 22, 2026 · applies to the dolaramp mobile app, dolaramp.com, api.dolaramp.com and the b2b api
// the short version
dolaramp is software, not a bank. we build a non-custodial wallet: your keys are generated on your phone and never touch our servers. we never hold or control your funds — with one narrow, disclosed exception during an EVM bridge (§6), where they pass through our relayer for seconds. you are in control of your keys — and responsible for them. fees are shown before you confirm anything. zero bs.
// 1. acceptance
by downloading, accessing or using the dolaramp app, website or api ("the service"), you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. if you don't agree, don't use the service.
// 2. what dolaramp is (and is not)
- it is a non-custodial software wallet for stablecoins: keys are generated and stored on your device (secure enclave / keystore). transactions are signed on your device. we broadcast what you sign and sponsor network gas where advertised.
- it is not a bank, exchange, broker, money transmitter or custodian. we do not take possession of your funds (the one exception, and its limits, is written out in §6), we don't convert fiat, we don't offer yield, and nothing in the service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
- stablecoins are issued by third parties (e.g. tether, circle, paxos). we don't issue, back or guarantee any token, and we are not responsible for an issuer's solvency, freezes or blacklists.
// 3. your keys, your responsibility
if you lose the 12 words and your device, the funds are gone. nobody — including us — can recover them. that is the design that keeps everyone else out too. write the words down offline, never share them, never type them outside the app. anyone asking for them is stealing. details:
/support.
you are solely responsible for: safeguarding your seed phrase, device and app password; verifying recipient addresses and networks before sending; and the security of the email account you use to sign in.
// 4. eligibility
you must be 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to use the service where you live. the service is not offered to residents of jurisdictions where it would be unlawful, and may be unavailable in certain countries — including territories subject to comprehensive sanctions. you may not use the service if you are on any sanctions list.
// 5. fees
| action | fee |
| receiving | free — the sender pays their own network costs |
| sending (app) | a flat fee per send (shown on screen before you confirm), plus any network fee charged by the blockchain itself where applicable |
| bridge — moving the same stablecoin between networks (app) | $2.00 flat + 0.30% of the amount, minimum $10.00 per bridge. the exact amount is shown on screen before you confirm. the issuer's own transfer cost (Circle's fast-transfer fee on USDC, typically well under one cent) is passed through at cost as a separate line. network gas is covered by us. |
| b2b api | per-operation fees and subscription tiers as shown in the panel and quoted by GET /v1/quote before each operation. bridge over the api: $2.00 flat + 0.30% (free tier), 0.20% (pro), minimum $10.00 per operation |
every fee is displayed before you sign, as an amount — not as a formula you have to work out. fees are charged inside the transaction you sign — if you don't sign, nothing is charged. fees may change; the screen at the moment of the operation is the source of truth, and this page is where the percentages behind those amounts are written down.
// 6. the bridge (moving a stablecoin between networks)
we do not run a bridge — the issuer does. when you move USDC between networks, the transfer is executed by circle's own protocol (CCTP): your USDC is burned on the origin network, and circle mints the same amount on the destination network. same token, same issuer, one to one. we drive that protocol for you, cover the network gas and show you both transaction hashes. the bridge itself is the issuer's.
- there is no liquidity pool. none. we do not hold, operate, seed, borrow or rent any pool, reserve or float to make a bridge work, and we never take the other side of your transfer. there is no "dolaramp liquidity" that can run dry, be drained or be exploited — because there is none. the supply is destroyed on one network and re-created by the issuer on the other. this is deliberate: pooled bridges are the ones that get hacked, and we chose a design where that class of failure cannot exist.
- we are technology and infrastructure — wallets, on-device key generation and signing, gas sponsorship, and the orchestration that drives the issuer's rails. we integrate only official, verified protocols published by the issuers themselves, and we track their releases closely so the app keeps working as those standards change.
- maximum $10,000,000 per bridge operation. this is our own ceiling, and we may lower it at any time. separately, the issuer's fast-transfer capacity is a shared allowance that rises and falls with global demand — if it is below your amount at that moment, circle completes the transfer on its slower path instead. slower, never lost.
- on EVM networks (base, arbitrum), your funds pass through an address we control for a few seconds. the authorization you sign moves the stablecoin to our relayer, which immediately burns it through the issuer's contract. this is the one point in the whole product where we touch your funds, and we are telling you plainly: if the burn fails after that step, the amount sits at that address until we complete the operation or return it to you. on solana this does not happen — the fee and the burn are a single transaction you sign yourself.
- a burn always ends in a mint. the issuer's attestation does not expire, so a transfer that has burned but not yet arrived is delayed, not lost, and stays claimable indefinitely. arrival time depends on the networks and on circle, not on us.
- the fee is ours; the issuer's cost is passed through. our fee is charged inside the transaction you sign. circle's own transfer fee is deducted by circle from the amount it mints, at cost, with no markup from us.
// 7. blockchain risks (read this)
- transactions are irreversible. a confirmed transaction cannot be cancelled, reversed or refunded by anyone.
- a wrong address or wrong network means lost funds. the app validates formats and warns about common mistakes, but the final check is yours.
- blockchains can be congested, forked, halted or attacked; third-party protocols and relayers we integrate (network sponsors, gasless rails) can fail or change their pricing. we don't control any of that.
- token values, even "stable" ones, can fluctuate or depeg. you bear all market risk.
// 8. acceptable use
you agree not to use the service for anything illegal — including money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, fraud or dealing in stolen funds — and not to abuse, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the service, other users, or the api (rate limits exist for a reason). we may suspend access to the service (never your funds — we can't touch them) to protect it or to comply with law.
// 9. b2b api
api accounts get keys (dr_live_...) and, per network, a wallet_secret (ws_...) shown once. the wallet_secret encrypts your keys in an envelope only you can open — we cannot recover it, and losing it makes the affected wallets unusable (a reset endpoint exists; funds already in lost wallets are unrecoverable). you are responsible for your end users, including any kyc/aml obligations of your own business. subscriptions renew until cancelled; usage fees are quoted before each operation.
// 10. intellectual property
the dolaramp name, brand, design and software are ours. we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. don't copy the brand or pass the service off as yours.
// 11. no warranties
the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
// 12. limitation of liability
to the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of funds, profits or data arising from your use of the service — including losses caused by lost seed phrases, wrong addresses, blockchain failures, third-party protocols or token issuers. our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
// 13. indemnity
you will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
// 14. termination
you can stop using the service and delete your account in-app at any time (settings → delete account). because the wallet is non-custodial, ending the relationship never locks your funds — the 12 words recover them in any standard wallet, forever. we may suspend or terminate service access for breach of these terms or legal requirement.
// 15. changes
we may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
// 16. governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of brazil. disputes will be resolved in the courts of brazil, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
