// why it's different

every other stablecoin rail makes you think about the blockchain: buy the gas token, run a node or pay a provider, chase failed transactions, explain "networks" to your users. dolaramp abstracts all of it. the person just holds dollars; the business just gets an API. we pay the gas and capture a small fee inside the same transaction — the way Stripe hid card networks.

// how the wallet works (b2c)
  1. sign in with google, apple or an email code. a wallet is generated on your phone — the keys never leave it.
  2. receive USDT, USDC or PYUSD from anyone, on any supported network. deposits are free and show up in seconds.
  3. send to any address. you sign on the device, we sponsor the gas, one flat fee is taken inside the transaction.
  4. back up with the 12 words — recover in dolaramp or any standard wallet. we never hold your funds.
// how the infra works (b2b)
  1. get your API key on signup and create one hotwallet per network — the wallet_secret is shown once.
  2. generate child addresses, one per user or invoice, and hand them out. deposits fire a signed webhook.
  3. sweep child balances into your hotwallet in batch, gasless, and withdraw to any destination.
  4. rebalance when the money is on the wrong chain: GET /v1/bridge/quote prices it, POST /v1/bridge executes, and bridge.confirmed tells your system it landed.
  5. reconcile with the statement and ledger — every operation itemized, fees shown, exportable to CSV.

// moving USDC between networks

your customer paid on solana and your supplier invoices on arbitrum. instead of an exchange round-trip, one call moves it: Circle burns the USDC on the network you leave and mints it on the one you arrive at, through CCTP. there is no liquidity pool in the middle, which is why size is not the problem it usually is — up to $10m per order, and nothing queued behind somebody else's liquidity. it runs in Circle's fast mode, which settles in seconds.

our fee: a flat $2 + a percentage of the amount that falls with your tier (0.3% on free, 0.2% on pro, negotiated on enterprise), minimum amount $10 per operation. Circle's own fee is passed through without markup. USDC today; USDT and PYUSD are next.
